Under general supervision, is responsible for scheduling and coordinating all work, for Substation and Network Operations. Coordinates construction activities with other departments including, Generation, Relay, Substation and Major Underground Engineering, Account Management, Metering, and Transmission Operations. Basic Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Two (2) years of verifiable experience with work scheduling activities Experience maintaining or working knowledge of substations and an underground network system Ability to support management team members as needed Knowledge of safe working clearances and hold card systems
Preferred Skills:
Related vocational or technical training Experience in electric utility operations Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Access, Excel Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate effectively in team meetings Active participation in achieving team goals Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work with limited direct supervision
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare daily work orders (preventive and corrective) for Substation and Network crews. Develop schedules for non-emergency work generated by Substation and Major Underground Engineering. Maintain a work environment that promotes balanced customer service, meeting requests while fulfilling obligations. Coordinate all aspects of construction projects, including materials, outage requests, and follow-up engineering documentation. Communicate the weekly plan to all stakeholders involved in completing the work successfully. Advise personnel on assignments; ensure accuracy of work performed and participate as needed to meet schedules. Lead weekly work performance meetings to review prior week activities and plan upcoming work schedules.
