Ottobock Healthcare is in search of a Product Market Manager to own and shape the future of one of our flagship portfolios. As a member of the Ottobock North America Product Marketing team, the Product Market Manager offers a unique opportunity to influence product strategy, craft compelling go-to-market strategies, and bring innovative healthcare solutions to life.

Role is located in Austin, and candidates must either already be in Austin or have plans/ability to relocate.

As a highly visible role within the organization, this individual will interact daily with teams across the business, both locally and globally, to develop and drive marketing plans, launch products, design and implement sales enablement programs, conduct competitive landscape and market research, and activate other portfolio-specific initiatives as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Own and drive the end-to-end marketing strategy for one of our flagship product portfolios, shaping positioning, messaging, and product lifecycle plans that accelerate adoption, drive sales, and maximize long-term impact.
* Deliver high-impact product launches and go-to-market initiatives by leading cross-functional teams, while supporting global launch preparation and coordination as required to ensure successful market introduction.
* Define and evolve product positioning and messaging, translating complex clinical and technical innovation into clear and compelling value propositions that differentiate Ottobock in a competitive and fast-evolving market.
* Analyze portfolio sales performance and leverage data-driven insights from market and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities and implement strategies that increase utilization and share of wallet.
* Develop a deep understanding of the portfolio's reimbursement landscape to shape pricing, implement promotions, and lead internal initiatives to address shifts that impact product performance in the market.
* Lead product forecasting by setting sales targets and proactively communicating portfolio plans and performance updates in real-time to anticipate demand, prevent shortages, and ensure seamless product availability.
* Develop and execute creative marketing activities, including content creation, newsletter features, internal and external communications, and promotional materials to support both sales initiatives and brand awareness.
* Serve as the subject-matter expert on the user and buyer journeys, identifying critical decision points and opportunities where marketing can strategically influence outcomes.
* Enable and inspire the Sales Representatives, Sales Operations, Professional Clinical Services, and Customer Service teams through strategic messaging, impactful training, and sales enablement tools that build confidence, clarity, and consistency in how the portfolio is positioned in the field.
* Collaborate closely with global product management, go-to-market, customer experience, and R&D teams to review product performance and market feedback, providing input on future design requirements as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications

* Minimum 5 years' proven experience in a Product Marketing or Product Management role, preferably within the healthcare or medical device sector.
* Outstanding written and presentation skills creating persuasive content for internal and external audiences including presentations, sales tools, and marketing collateral.
* Demonstrates the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
* Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies with demonstrated success in planning, launching, and driving adoption of products in competitive markets.
* Strong understanding of product positioning, messaging, and value propositions with the ability to craft compelling messaging that clearly communicates product benefits and USPs to target audiences.
* Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis using reports to make data-driven decisions by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market trends and customer insights.
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects at once.
* Proven analytical and business management skills (i.e., KPI tracking, data and pricing analysis, reporting).
* Comfortable with ambiguity and is a quick learner with the ability to solve problems independently with minimal guidance.
* Ability to travel for industry events and field visits, estimated between 8-10 trips per year.

* BA required, MBA preferred
