POSITION PURPOSE: Must reside in or around Upstate, SC or be willing to relocate to the Greater Greenville, SC area. Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the branch facilities maintenance functions. Secures bids and negotiates vendor service and maintenance contracts within prescribed limits. Reviews work and billing to ensure services and applicable supplies (as needed for maintenance or other branch facility need) are of acceptable quality at the best possible cost. Ensures facilities operations are completed in accordance with established policies and procedures and comply with all legal and safety regulations (including ADA and OSHA). Oversees related budgeting and controls financial expenditures. Coordinates maintenance activities, vendor relationships, and small facility projects to ensure all CPM locations are safe, well maintained, and member-ready. Consistently exceeds internal member expectations. a. Assists the SVP of Retail and COO in developing short- and long-term goals and plans. Assists with budgeting and expense forecasting. b. Executes operational goals and ensures that branch maintenance plans support overall credit union objectives. c. Develops, implements, and reviews policies and procedures for facilities maintenance to ensure efficiency and consistent service delivery. 2. Assumes responsibility for the effective operation and maintenance of all Credit Union branches. a. Oversees branch facility maintenance including janitorial, landscaping, HVAC, lighting, and other vendor-supported services. b. Manages vendor relationships and ensures regular preventive maintenance schedules are followed. c. Coordinates or performs minor handyman work and small-scale facility projects, such as repairs, fixture replacements, and equipment upgrades. d. Conducts periodic facility inspections and identifies needed repairs or improvements. e. Ensures branches are clean, safe, and in good working order at all times. f. Partners with Security to ensure proper lighting and safety measures are in place. 3. Assumes responsibility for the effective administration of the Facilities Department. a. Oversees vendor and supplier contracts, obtains bids, and arranges for service agreements within approved limits. b. Researches and evaluates vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost effectiveness. c. Ensures that maintenance agreements and leases are current and properly documented. d. Ensures compliance with legal regulations, including ADA and OSHA requirements. e. Tracks and promptly resolves facility-related issues and requests. 4. Serves as a Service Ambassador by displaying courtesy and attentiveness to help internal teams, vendors, and contractors feel valued. a. Serves as the liaison between CPM and its vendors for all branch facility-related needs. b. Builds and maintains productive relationships with suppliers, ensuring prompt and professional service. c. Supports and protects the Credit Union's reputation by embracing its Mission, Vision, and Core Values. 5. Assumes responsibility for communication and coordination with Credit Union staff and management. a. Assists and supports branch managers and other departments with maintenance and vendor needs. b. Keeps the SVP of Retail and COO informed of significant activities, issues, or recommendations. c. Completes required reports and documentation accurately and on time. d. Participates in management meetings and training sessions as required. 6. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned. a. Completes special projects and assignments as requested. b. Ensures work areas and facilities are secure, safe, and well maintained. c.
