Position Summary

As the Director of MRD Sales, you will lead the strategic launch and adoption of Myriad's Precise MRD testing solution across a multi-state region while driving growth for our full oncology portfolio. This role requires a transformational leader who can build and inspire a large national team of senior sales executives, develop market strategies, and partner cross-functionally to deliver exceptional results. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of cancer care by introducing a groundbreaking technology and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Culture: Build and lead a team of MRD Sales Executives fostering a winning, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
  • Launch Strategy: Drive awareness and adoption of Precise MRD testing during a structured rollout, ensuring alignment with Myriad's oncology strategy.
  • Team Development: Recruit, coach, and mentor sales executives; set objectives, assess performance, and identify skill development opportunities.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop regional strategies and tactics in collaboration with product, marketing, and medical affairs teams to maximize financial return.
  • Market Expansion: Partner with Strategic Accounts and Managed Care teams to ensure pull-through of contracts and coverage strategies.
  • Analytics & Insights: Work with Commercial Analytics to monitor performance, market trends, and competitive activity; adjust resource deployment as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Represent sales on multi-disciplinary teams to provide perspective on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory and company guidelines in promotional activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in biotechnology, molecular diagnostics, or related healthcare sector.
  • 5+ years of direct field sales leadership experience
  • Proven success in product launches and driving adoption in complex healthcare environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver strong results in competitive markets and lead transformational change.
  • Expertise in building teams, coaching leaders, and managing performance.
  • Strong knowledge of oncology, coverage, and reimbursement issues.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver's license per company policy.
  • Must reside near a major airport to facilitate frequent travel.
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time across the Nation.

Compensation & Benefits
Estimated OTE Range: 300,000 - 355,000(Competitive base salary + at-target variable incentive.)

Physical Requirements
Sedentary to light work, exerting 10-20 pounds of force occasionally. Includes stationary positioning, moving, communicating, and observing. OSHA category III-normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid, or tissue and will not require emergency care or first aid assistance.
