As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Rounds in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. Your role includes monitoring assigned areas, providing outstanding customer service, and supporting a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and tenants. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while at the location.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual circumstances.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or emergencies according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and assist tenants, visitors, and/or staff as needed.
• Assist with access control measures, verifying identification and/or credentials when necessary.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site supervisors or management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
