Graduate Nurse Residency - Mercy South Float Pool

What to Expect:

• 6 month rotation in Med/Surg
• 6 month rotation in Stepdown
• Once completed, opportunity to move into ICU/Specialty

Flexible Scheduling Options:

• 12-hour shifts:7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM
• 8-hour evening shifts:3 PM - 11 PM

• Tier 3 (Med/Surg):+$5.00/hr

• Tier 2 (Stepdown):+$7.50/hr

• Tier 1 (ICU):+$10.00/hr

Additional Shift Differentials:

• Evening: +$2.75/hr
• Night: +$4.60/hr
• Weekend: +$1.50/hr

• Exposure to diverse units and patient populations
• Opportunities to sharpen assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
• A fast-paced, rewarding environment for flexible and compassionate nurses

• Experience:1-2 years of bedside RN experience
• Education:Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred)
• License:Current RN license in the state
• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association
• Physical requirements/demands:
  • Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Prolonged standing and walking each shift
  • Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
