Inside the Role

The Business Development Generalist IV is a senior strategic leader and entrepreneur, responsible for shaping and driving the growth of DCNA's core and adjacent businesses-specifically in parts, digital services, and consulting. This role is pivotal in identifying, developing, and scaling new business opportunities that align with DCNA's overall strategy, with a focus on Parts -Sales, Pricing, and Digital Solutions.
The incumbent acts as a catalyst for innovation and transformation, leveraging market intelligence, customer insights, and emerging technologies to create sustainable competitive advantage. This role bridges commercial strategy, operational excellence, and digital transformation, ensuring DCNA remains at the forefront of the Coach Parts industry.

Position offers a starting salary range of $117,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Business Development & Opportunity Creation
    • Identify, evaluate, and develop new business models and revenue streams in parts, digital services, and consulting.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to pilot and scale innovative solutions, partnerships, and go-to-market strategies.
    • Shape the strategic direction for growth, leveraging market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
    • Drive entrepreneurial initiatives that expand DCNA's footprint and influence in core and adjacent markets.
  • Strategic Consulting & Advisory
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management and stakeholders, providing strategic guidance on business development, market entry, and transformation initiatives.
    • Develop consulting frameworks and best practices to support internal and external clients in optimizing their parts, digital, and service businesses.
    • Facilitate workshops and strategy sessions to align teams and accelerate business outcomes.
  • Integrated Sales, Pricing & Digital Solutions
    • Architect and execute integrated sales and pricing strategies that maximize value creation and market impact.
    • Champion digital innovation, including eShop enablement, predictive maintenance, and customer-centric digital platforms.
    • Oversee the adoption and integration of advanced analytics, BI tools, and CRM systems to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Market Development & Strategic Partnerships
    • Evaluate and pursue strategic partnerships, alliances, and new market initiatives to expand distribution and service offerings.
    • Lead segmentation, demand analysis, and competitive positioning to unlock growth opportunities.
    • Represent DCNA in industry forums, thought leadership events, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Customer Advocacy & Relationship Management
    • Serve as the front face for all business-related topics, representing DCNA to customers and acting as their trusted advisor.
    • Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, challenges, and aspirations.
    • Identify opportunities to add value for customers and integrate those insights into the overall business strategy.
    • Build and nurture long-term relationships, ensuring customer feedback directly informs product, service, and business development initiatives.
    • Facilitate regular customer workshops, feedback sessions, and strategic reviews to align DCNA's offerings with evolving market needs.
  • Customer Experience & Relationship Management
    • Design and deliver seamless, differentiated customer experiences across all touchpoints.
    • Implement multi-channel engagement strategies and leverage customer analytics for targeted marketing and service excellence.
    • Monitor satisfaction and continuously improve the customer journey.
  • Performance Management & Organizational Leadership
    • Define and track KPIs for business development, sales growth, digital adoption, and customer satisfaction.
    • Lead change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Industrial Engineering, International Business, or similar degree and 7+ years of relevant experience in Business Development, Strategic Consulting, sales leadership, or digital transformation, ideally in automotive/motorcoach or aftermarket industries.
  • Proven entrepreneurial mindset and strategic vision.
  • Expertise in business model innovation, pricing strategy, and digital solutions.
  • Strong analytical, advisory, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional alignment and lead complex projects.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic market environments.
  • An attached resume is required.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • An MBA is preferred.
  • Experience in automotive, motorcoach or aftermarket industries.
