  • Performs Shipping tasks including, but not limited to verification of piece count and condition of finished goods and material to be shipped and the air waybill/bill of lading verification of outbound product through coordination with both internal personnel and assigned carriers.
  • Performs Receiving tasks, including, but not limited to the unloading of trucks and delivery vehicles, unpacking of boxes, examination of goods received, verification of delivery receipts and paperwork with shipment contents, the physical movement of goods to other areas within the facility.
  • Performs all Raw Material Store functions, including, but not limited to the loading and unloading of bulk raw material to and from assigned carriers, the processing of material receipts and the transfer of items to other departments and outside vendors.
  • Performs all responsibilities within productivity and quality expectations. Follows work procedures.
  • Acts as a troubleshooter for cell process problems. Resolves problems or refers problems to the appropriate individual.
  • Provides support to material processing as needed, including but not limited to,

    1. Process purchase orders and related documentation for outside process suppliers.
    2. Maintain and update visual status board of all jobs while at outside process suppliers.
    3. Assist with raw material review/approval and initiate laboratory testing in accordance with lab card requirements.
    4. Identify defects in surface, dimensional, visual and non-conformities (material and documentation) to specifications and Kamatics' quality standards. Report non-conformance of materials or unusual conditions to Materials and Quality supervisors as well as cell leader.




  • Maintains clean and safe work environment. Follows safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Reports safety incidents to supervisor.
  • Makes recommendations for improvements to work processes. Coordinates a 5 S program in the work area.
  • Provides a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contributes to positive teamwork environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Participates in training/learning other positions. Accomplishes related results as needed.



Qualifications:



Education: High School diploma / GED.



Experience: 4 - 6 years shipping, receiving, inventory or material control experience.
