Dollar bank is hiring a Payroll Administrator. In this role, you will work with other members of the payroll team to ensure the accurate processing of the semi-monthly payroll, as well as preliminary and final payroll reports, timecards, and employee changes. You will also respond to inquiries and/or requests for data. Overtime may be required during peak periods. You will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule after successful training.
Required Qualifications: * High School Diploma/GED required. College degree a plus. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Basic proficiency in Excel). * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Detail oriented with exceptional organizational and prioritization skills. * Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with business units. * Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed. Preferred Qualifications: * Working knowledge of timecard software. * Understanding of Crystal Reports and/or Lawson preferred Principal Activities: * Process paperwork for new hires and enter employee information into the payroll system. * Ensure the accurate processing of transfers, promotions, address/tax changes and terminations for current employees. * Review timecards and approvals to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies while ensuring the proper documentation of employee absences (i.e., personal, vacation, leave of absences, etc.). * Issue and record pay adjustments related to retroactive increases or previous errors. * Respond to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner. * Prepare ad hoc reports as needed. * Guarantee proper payroll record keeping and file retention.
