What You'll Do Day-To-Day
Plan, schedule and conduct independent assessments and surveillance of materials and products.
- Review documents, prepare checklists, conduct assessment interviews and prepares assessment reports.
- Ensure corrective action issues are identified and documented; conduct 'root cause' or 'apparent cause' analyses; verify that corrective/preventative actions are effective and documented in the corrective action program.
- Review procedures to comply with ISO, ASME, IEEE standards.
- Develop and implement nuclear and/or non-nuclear QA procedures to be followed for design, procurement, construction and/or operation of materials and/or processes.
- Review QA specifications, test reports and other documentation to ensure safety and QA requirements are met.
- Inspect and review contractors' and vendors' work for compliance with QA standards.
- Interface routinely with customers, both internal and external to develop processes solve issues and improve performance.
- Act as the Lead QA/QC representative for support of projects at Framatome, supplier or customer facilities.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years related experience in nuclear quality assurance or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- Advanced knowledge of related engineering and quality assurance standards, techniques and criteria.
- Understanding of internal and external audit processes.
- Understanding of customer and industry-specific quality requirements.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data.
- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Awareness and comprehension of NRC or other pertinent national/international regulations, codes and standards.
- Awareness and comprehension of company & industry engineering processes, computer codes and standards.

- Salary: $97,000 - $144,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
