As a Security Officer - Patrol - Government Facility in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will perform routine patrols, address concerns as they arise, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to everyone you encounter. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols within the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, maintaining detailed records as required.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and client representatives to address security-related needs.
• Support access control efforts by monitoring entry and exit points as assigned.
• Adhere to all company and client protocols while on duty, maintaining a professional presence at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
