Security Officer - Chemical Plant Access

As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Access in Parma, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment at a chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of all individuals entering and exiting to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks, noting and reporting irregularities.
• Follow emergency response procedures when appropriate, including initiating communication with emergency responders as directed by site protocols.
• Document observations and incidents accurately in reports and logs, maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal management and the client site team.
• Support a secure environment by remaining alert to unusual or suspicious activities in and around the location, reporting findings promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
