Scope:

The Cost Accountant/Financial Analyst supports the Finance Business Partner at the site level.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare/generate daily and weekly operational metrics including, but not limited to:

    Shipments / BookingsNet ProductionDirect Material IssuancesLabor IncurredScrap Incurred/Remakes started
  • Analyze performance metrics inclusive of those above and others to understand plant performance and make recommendations to Finance Business Partner and General Manager.

  • Work with operational department managers to understand cost performance, analyze period variances from standards or forecast.

  • Support Finance Business Partner in preparation of Budget/Forecast/Period End Variance Analysis cycle.

  • Monitor capital projects from ROI calculation, project approval stage, to capitalization.

  • Support and manage all internal and external audit requests and resolve audit issues as they occur.

  • Prepare Revenue Recognition testing analysis

  • Coordinate with Shared Services Center on vendor/customer/GL issues as they arise.

  • Coordinate with Shared Services Center and Customer Service to assist in AR collection efforts where required

  • Coordinate/execute Quarterly sample audits of raw, WIP and FG material.

  • Support multiple operational reporting schedules/requirements (cost savings, scorecards, QBR, capacity utilization, etc.).

  • Support Finance Business Partner in preparation of quarterly RMA incident rate calculation.

  • Calculate periodic RAW/WIP/FGI valuation including reserves and capitalized variance analysis

  • Responsible for maintaining raw, FG and WIP standards.

  • Responsible for understanding and reporting our production variances

  • Responsible for cycle count testing and YE physical count with Controller.

  • Prepare market financial results bridge commentary

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong research and analytical skills.

  • Standard costing experience highly desirable.

  • Advanced skills in Excel.

  • Oracle experience highly desired.

  • Highly motivated, a creative problem solver and a strategic thinker.

  • Able to work independently.

  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management.

Education and Experience:

  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance with 2-5 Years of experience in a manufacturing environment. #LI-EC1

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
