  • Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more.

Responsibilities

The Security Officer plays a critical role in protecting the life and property of all persons on the premises and patrols hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism. Secures, unlocks, and protects hospital buildings. Responds to security needs of hospital personnel, patients, and visitors. This position is safety sensitive.


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • 1+ years' healthcare-specific experience or relevant experience in law enforcement or military service.
  • Experience prioritizing, conducting, and documenting investigations.
  • Level 2 Security license issued by the State of Texas.
  • Level 3 Security license issued by the State of Texas required within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Healthcare-specific knowledge and experience.
