In the role of a Psychometrist II you will be working in the Peditrics Department. Purpose Conduct and score psychological/neuropsychological assessments. Assist in the collection of clinical research data and in the training of graduate students and residents in evaluation procedures. Primary Functions * Independently perform psychological/neuropsychological testing of patients and research subjects. * Interview patients and patient care givers as directed and consult with other professionals to assist in recognition of treatment obstacles. * Evaluate, score, and summarize tests administered to patients. * Write reports, summaries and/or case histories as necessary. * Manage research and clinical data, and coordinate patient schedules. * Train graduate students and residents in evaluation procedures. * Perform literature searches and research reviews.
Knowledge - Skills - Abilities Knowledge of biology, clinical judgment, medicine, cultural awareness, and consulting. Medical documentation, interpersonal, practice-based learning and improvement, empathy, and decision making skills.
Specifications Appropriate experience may be substituted for educaiton on an equivalent basis Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree Minimum Required Experience: 1 year Why MCW?
