Job Title: Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Pain Management Duration: 3+ years Location: Nellis AFB, NV 89191 Pay Rate: $60/hr on w2 without benefits Shift : 7am to 5pm Monday - Friday Job Description: Deliver a full range of PA/NP services in primary and specialty care settings. Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and counsel patients with acute, chronic, and minor trauma conditions. Provide comprehensive health maintenance, including preventive medicine and behavioral health support. Perform outpatient care for eligible beneficiaries as scheduled by the Government. Conduct occupational health exams, military retirement exams, and separation physicals as needed. Conduct virtual mental health assessments as part of Periodic Health Assessments (PHAs). Required Skills: Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including: Dry needling. Acupuncture. Trigger point injections. Pulse oximetry. EKGs. Glucose testing and ordering. Emergency Care: Respond to emergency situations (respiratory/cardiac arrest). Initiate appropriate interventions following established protocols. Team & Patient & Education: Establish collaborative rapport with physicians, nurses, and support staff. Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment plans, and wellness practices. Required Experience: Minimum 24 months of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner within the last 36 months. Required: Previous experience in pain management or related specialties, including familiarity with: Interventional pain techniques Chronic pain pharmacotherapy Multimodal pain management strategies Strong preference for candidates with working knowledge of the military healthcare system, TRICARE, and the unique needs of military families. Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association or client-approved equivalent. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association or client-approved equivalent. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Required. Required Certification: Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Board Certification as Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners BLS, ACLS, and NRP Covid Card For Nurse Practitioners: American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
