Job Description

We are seeking a seasonedRPA Solutions Architectwith deep, hands-on UiPathexpertiseto support a major federal financial automation program. You will guide solution design within a mature UiPath and Oracle EBS environment and serve as a key technical leader responsible for sustaining and enhancing the program'stechnical strength,long-term productivity, reliability, and scalability.

This role requires someone who understands UiPath at asystem, architectural, and operationallevel-someone who cananticipatehow platform upgrades, infrastructure changes, and upstream systems (such as Oracle EBS) impact automation behavior. You will help the client adopt intelligent automation capabilities responsibly, introducing modern features only as supporting infrastructure matures,navigating upgrades and platform changes without disrupting mission-critical work.

Responsibilities:

Architecture

  • Serve as the program's UiPath expert with a deep understanding of Orchestrator behavior, package versioning, upgrade impacts, and system-level interactions.
  • Bridge communication between federal stakeholders, development teams, Oracle SMEs, and UiPath support using real-world platform experience.
  • Extend, refine, and enforce architectural patterns that go beyond basic RE Framework implementations while maintaining structure, consistency, and discipline.

Stability

  • Strengthen and evolve a platform designed for reliability, predictable recovery, and long-term maintainability.
  • Ensure automations remain robust-not fragile-as systems evolve, workloads increase, or external dependencies change.
  • Improve stability patterns only where they add clear value, maintaining a balance between modernization and reliability.

Modernization

  • Shape solutions that incorporate AI-assisted capabilities-including structured data extraction, document understanding, and basic NLP-as the client's environment becomes ready to support them.
  • Keep enhancements practical and incremental, adding capability without introducing unnecessary risk or complexity.
  • Guide the client through technology changes with a focus on predictability, clarity, and operational readiness.

Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with Business Analysts, developers, Oracle SMEs, and federal stakeholders to align automation design with constraints and requirements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to code reviews, and support technical discussions with a calm, solution-focused approach.
  • Communicate impacts, risks, and architectural considerations clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of relevant IT experience, including 5+ years in architect or lead roles within complex enterprise environments.
  • 3+ years of direct UiPath development and architecture experience withstrongunderstanding of orchestrator operations, system behavior, and upgrade impacts.
  • ExpertiseinOracle EBS Federal Financialsand automation within high-compliance or regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of reliable, recoverable, secure, and auditable automation design.
  • Proficiencyin API integration patterns, JSON, XML, and secure communication practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with sprint-based delivery and code reviews.
  • Education requirement is an Advanced Degree, at the Masters level or higher in Computer science or IT related Program

Preferred Qualifications:

  • UiPath Advanced Developer Certification.
  • Familiarity with UiPath Document Understanding, AI Center, or comparable AI/ML tools used for document processing, classification, or intelligent automation.
  • Experience in federal financial systems, shared services, or other high-compliance environments.
  • Exposure to other RPA platforms such as Automation Anywhere or Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Awareness of emerging federal guidance related to AI, automation, and data governance.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Understand UiPath deeply-with system-level, architectural, and operational mastery that allows you to predict, assess, and mitigate the impact of platform or system changes.
  • Appreciate stable, well-defined engineering practices and can help keep a large, high-compliance automation program running smoothly.
  • Prefer refining and strengthening a mature automation architecture rather than rebuilding systems unnecessarily.
  • Approach modernization with balance, introducing intelligent capabilities only when infrastructure and governance support them.
  • Communicate clearly, calmly, and consistently to build trust and support confident decision-making.
