SUMMARY
The Production Assistant supports the production, processing, shipping, maintenance and testing departments within the facility. Maintains organization and files. Assists leadership team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Scrap Billing -- work in profit to generate invoices. * Maintenance department paperwork, work orders for emergency breakdowns and planned maintenance. * Orders purchased goods. * Enters plant near misses. * Plant functions and employee appreciation events. * Place orders for stock parts. * Perform cycle counts. * Organize and maintain housekeeping for maintenance inventory. * Enters production information into the system. * Coil certifications. * Inventory support -- scans coils for inventory. * Compiles various reports for receivers, prints stickers, checks production reports. * General support tasks. * Serves as general liaison between departments. QUALIFICATIONS
* Strong communication and organizational skills. * Detail orientated. * Able to work in a team environment. * Excellent Microsoft Office Skills. * Strong interest in continuous improvement. QUALIFICATIONS
* Basic mathematical skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication and changing fractions into decimals. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
* High School Diploma or GED preferred. * Prior manufacturing experience preferred. * Prior administrative experience preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Lifting less than 25 pounds * Standing throughout the day * Walking throughout the day * Body positions- sitting, standing, walking, bending WORK ENVIRONMENT
* Primarily an office environment, however, occasionally may be required to enter the manufacturing facility where there is heat and cold exposure and personal protective equipment is required. CLARKDIETRICH BENEFITS INCLUDE
