Position Summary: The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is seeking a qualified candidate to teach as a non-tenure track, full-time Instructor of English. The start date is August 2026. This is a residential appointment, and campus presence is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- 4/4 teaching load with assignments in Professional & Technical Communication, Report Writing, and Composition
- Courses may be offered in-person, hybrid, or online, as assigned to meet student needs.
- Contribute to the Writing Program in collaboration with the Writing Program Director and fellow faculty
- Regular and predictable attendance required
- Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Requirements: An M.A. with at least 18 hours in English is required. An M.A. in English is preferred. Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background in and experience in teaching Professional & Technical Communication, Report Writing, and Composition in person and online. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

Physical Demand and Working Conditions: Work is sedentary in nature, which at times requires exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a consistent amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
