We're seeking a future team member for the role of Director of Pricing & Client Analytics to join our global Finance team. This role reports to the CFO of Pershing and is located in Jersey City. The Director of Pricing & Client Analytics leads all aspects of client pricing, repricing, and profitability analysis to optimize revenue and support strategic negotiations. This role oversees a high-performing team, drives data-driven pricing governance, and partners closely with Finance, Sales, and Client Executives to translate complex analytics into actionable recommendations. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead and develop the Pricing & Client Analytics team, setting standards for pricing governance, repricing, and profitability analysis
- Oversee end-to-end pricing processes for new and existing clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with strategic objectives
- Partner with Sales, Finance, and Client Executives to design and implement dynamic pricing models that maximize margin, retention, and client value
- Conduct in-depth, client and segment-specific profitability analyses to support deal structuring and executive decision-making
- Develop and maintain pricing tools and related dashboards(e.g., Power BI, Tableau) driving insights that directly influence Budget and Forecast
- Monitor market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitor pricing to identify opportunities for differentiation
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure cohesive pricing strategies and efficient escalation paths for complex requests
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks, policies, and controls to maintain the integrity of strategic pricing recommendations
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred\
- 10+ years of experience in pricing strategy, client analytics, or revenue management within financial services or professional services
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and coaching analytic teams
- Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel; hands-on experience with SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI
- Strong understanding of financial services business drivers, client profitability levers, and pricing methodologies
- Demonstrated track record developing pricing models, managing large data sets and translating insights into revenue-driving actions
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree with emphasis on quantitative analysis, pricing, or strategic management
- Experience in wealth management, custody, or brokerage pricing
- Demonstrated success implementing pricing governance frameworks and leading change initiatives

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $150,000 and $273,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
