Brief Description: The Recruiter role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle talent acquisition activities across one or more Patterson-UTI affiliated companies. The role partners with hiring managers, regional Human Resources (HR), and business leaders to understand workflow needs, develop sourcing strategies, and deliver a high-quality candidate experience. The Recruiter ensures the timely and effective placement of talent by leveraging technology and relationship-building skills. This position plays a critical role in strengthening the company's employer brand and maintaining compliance with all employment laws and company policies. Success in this role requires balancing strategic partnership with hands-on recruiting execution in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. This role will work under the direction of the Director of Talent Acquisition (TA) - Recruitment and Sourcing. Detailed Description:
Serve as a partner to the business, create and build relationships with hiring managers and regional HR, and provide expert guidance on all aspects of the talent acquisition process. Work with hiring managers and regional HR teams to create and update job descriptions and open job requisitions based on business needs. Conduct intake meetings with hiring manager to understand requirements and expectations. Post positions on various job boards to include diverse, industry and region-specific sites. Source, screen and phone interview applicants that meet the job requirements and related qualifications. Present a qualified slate of candidates to the hiring manager and scheduling candidates for interviews. Conduct regular follow-up with hiring managers and regional HR on status of candidates and positions. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to determine appropriate compensation packages for offers. Negotiate job offers, create and extend offers to selected candidates. Process and disposition applicants utilizing the Company's applicant tracking system (ATS) and in compliance with established processes. Provide regular status updates on requisitions and applicants to hiring managers, HR, and TA leadership. Maintain and provide reports on recruiting metrics. Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates in advance of need. Research and recommend new sources to identify qualified candidates. Attend job fairs and regional hiring events as needed. Job Requirements:
Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to employment. Ability to maintain Company and employee confidentiality at all times and handles sensitive employee information and protect Company proprietary information in an appropriate manner. Ability to review and comprehend a job description and candidate resumes to the extent required to accurately assess candidates' qualifications. Ability to work under stress, prioritize and complete a high volume of work, managing multiple projects and coordinating multiple requests to successful completion. Ability to manage multiple recruiting assignments concurrently within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Self-starter, outgoing and motivated with a strong sense of urgency. Strong people skills, enjoy talking on the phone with the ability to be persuasive and have a sales and influencing personality. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook as well as knowledge and experience with business systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills which include the ability to speak, write, and listen in a manner that clarifies issues, promotes closure, and delivers information in a clear and concise manner and facilitates good decision-making. Ability to conduct targeted searches for difficult to fill positions. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and learn/apply new concepts quickly. Ability to travel as needed to attend job fairs, regional offices, hiring events, military bases, and visit rig locations which may occasionally require travel to remote locations and/or overnight stay(s) outside normal office area.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field of study. 3 years recruiting experience in a high volume, fast paced environment.

Additional Details: Work is primarily in a climate-controlled / office environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, or walk with occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending and frequent near vision use for reading and use of computer, telephone, and other office equipment. Occasional travel to other Company offices and field locations, often in remote locations may be required during normal field operating conditions (day/night, outdoor hot/cold weather), an employee will be expected to properly use designated personal protective equipment (PPE).
