What We're Looking For We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Epicor ERP Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the primary point of contact for all Epicor ERP-related inquiries and issues, ensuring system reliability, performance, and user efficiency. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and business process knowledge to effectively support various departments, including finance, manufacturing, engineering and purchasing/supply chain. Your Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for internal team members and end-users regarding Epicor ERP issues via phone, email, or a ticketing system.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and system-related problems, escalating complex issues to external vendor condultant team when necessary.
- Analyze existing business processes and collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and translate business requirements into functional ERP solutions.
- Configure and customize Epicor ERP applications, including developing and maintaining Business Activity Queries (BAQs), Business Process Management (BPMs), and dashboards.
- Assist with the implementation, testing, and deployment of system updates, patches, and version upgrades.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the ERP system, performing data analysis and cleanup as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and user manuals.
- Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing guidance to end-users to maximize user adoption and system proficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration between the Epicor ERP system and other business applications.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years' experience working with Epicor ERP systems, including hands-on support, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL databases and the ability to write and optimize SQL queries.
- Experience with Epicor tools such as DMT (Data Management Tool), BAQs, and BPMs.
- Familiarity with reporting tools like SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) or Crystal Reports.
- Knowledge of general networking and server administration concepts is beneficial.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a patient, user-centric approach.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
