Contract Dates: August 16, 2026- June 15, 2027
Teaching Formats: Day, evening, weekend, in person,hybrid, and online

Job Duties and Responsibilities

* Teach a variety of Anatomy and Physiology courses, including Structure & Function of the Human Body, Human Biology Sequence and Anatomy and Physiology sequence. Course schedules may include an occasional evening, weekend or condensed formats. May involve teaching hybrid sections.
* Remain current on effective teaching and learning practices that promote equity and inclusion for underrepresented groups in science
* Serve on department and institutional committees,
* Accept any special assignments that further the mission of AACC, particularly collaborating with Health Science programs about our curriculum and efforts.

Required Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Biology or closely related field with a strong emphasis on Anatomy or Physiology
* Evidence of collaboration and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

* 3 years community college teaching experience
* Ability to teach a range of courses and adjust expectations and strategies to meet the needs of the course.
