Position Description


The Talent Development Manager leads the design and development of strategies, policies, processes and tools for learning and development, career development, succession planning, and leadership development. Serves as Manager of Learning and Development team.

Essential Job Tasks:

  • Manages and leads all Learning and Development programs, including professional development course offerings, supervisory management training and leadership development programs. Designs and implements comprehensive talent development programs. Actively participates as a strategic partner as a member of HR Lead Team. Manages and leads the Learning and Development staff.
  • Collaborates with management and other HR leaders to assess, identify and prioritize training and development needs throughout the organization. Facilitates and develops group and individual development plans to accomplish corporate and departmental goals.
  • Serves as primary lead for succession planning process by assessing appropriate strategies, talent readiness and career development. Provides focused consultative guidance to managers, senior leadership and executives to address business challenges and to build strategic talent bench.
  • Evaluates effective resources and tools for learning and development programs to ensure curriculum design and learning technologies meet the business and organizational development needs. Recommends improvements and modifications to training and development programs as needed.
  • Conducts professional development training as needed.


  • Position Requirements


    This position may be eligible for hybrid (remote and in person arrangement).

  • Bachelor's Degree +8 years experience or a Master's +6 years of experience in Training and Development, Employee Development and Human Resources required.


  • Compensation Information:
    $102,560 - $128,200 (min.-mid.)
