Laser/Brake Press Operator

Job Duties:

Operate MITSUBISHI laser cutting machine and CNC brake press
Set up lenses and load cutting programs based on material specifications
Interpret and follow shop drawings to produce precision parts
Use measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced production environment
Work collaboratively and demonstrate consistent reliability
Must be prepared to work in other areas and departments in the facility if asked to do so

Experience Required:

2–3 years of hands-on experience with laser cutting and brake press equipment
Strong ability to read and interpret technical/shop drawings
Proven attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and teamwork skills

Location: Gaffney, SC

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7: 00 AM to 3: 30 PM

Position: Full-time

Wage: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Experience: 2–3 years operating laser and brake press machinery

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in metal fabrication or manufacturing preferred
