Machine Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift Shifts: 1st: 4:30 AM - 3:00 PM \| 2nd: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM ?? 1st Shift: $20/hr \| 2nd Shift: $21.25/hr (including premiums) Summary: Operate machines to perform standardized operations, monitor production, and ensure products meet quality specifications. Perform inspections, maintain records, and support team efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate machines; load/unload workpieces Inspect products for defects using precision instruments Maintain production documentation and quality standards Package finished products for shipment Train new team members and assist as backup for inspectors Perform clean-up, re-work, and support special projects Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of production processes, mechanical operations, and quality control Ability to perform repetitive tasks and follow safety procedures Lift/move up to 30 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and critical thinking Work Environment: Plant environment with exposure to noise, fumes, humidity, and moving machinery; adherence to safety procedures required.
