Daimler Truck North America LLC seeks a Global Supplier Management Governance & Strategy Program Manager out of our office at 4555 N Channel Ave., Portland, OR 97217. Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned office address. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned office address. Note, this position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel per year. Job Duties: The Global Supplier Management Governance & Strategy Program Manager will be responsible for developing and leading global programs focused on the development of global supply chain readiness and risk mitigation strategies for Daimler Truck AG. Lead the establishment and tracking of strategic global supplier management projects and programs across all DTAG operating units. Supports the establishment of global DTAG supply chain best practices and cross-functional collaboration. Increases visibility of global DTAG supplier capacity and vehicle production volumes. Facilitate global task forces comprised of team members across all DTAG business units to resolve supply chain crises. Monitor global KPIs to proactively mitigate supply chain risk. Responsible for developing strategies to improve global supply chain resiliency for all global DTAG operating units, as well as coordinate and improve existing governance functions within all DTAG business units. Facilitate and drive continuous improvement of DTAG's Regional Supplier Responsibility Management process across all global business units. Lead supply chain programs comprised of team members from every global DTAG operating unit. Manage diverse teams across all levels of management and expertise, as well as staff members from different operating units and cultures. Supervise supply chain inputs from DTAG business units to align on deliverables for Regional Supplier Responsibility implementation and continuous improvement. Support the global shift from reactive to proactive supply chain analytics to predict and mitigate impacts of global supply chain crises on DTAG. Facilitate global supply chain task forces comprised of team members from all global operating units. Work collaboratively across different functions with project managers to implements new supply chain process or improvements. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree International Business, International Commerce or Supply Chain, or the foreign equivalent. 4 years of relevant finance experience in purchasing or supply chain. Experience working with multicultural, cross-functional teams; global product launch process in the commercial vehicle industry; and market requirements for quality and supply chain compliance in the commercial vehicle industry. One year of experience: serving as a group leader or a project lead; working with an international project team; and working in the commercial vehicle industry in a global market outside of the U.S. Two years of experience in global project management and public speaking with senior executives. Five years of experience in Microsoft Office. 10% of domestic or international travel is required per year.
