Position/Dept Summary: The Corporate Initiatives team is responsible for prospecting, soliciting, and stewarding all corporate sponsorships for Boston Children's Hospital's Trust events-the Eversource Walk for Kids, Corporate Cup, Milagros para Ninos, Champions for Children's and the Boston Investment Conference-on an annual basis. This role provides direct support to their manager and assists the team's overall efforts by providing essential support; scheduling donor, volunteer, prospect and internal team meetings; handling acknowledgments, booking and tracking of gifts; constituent management in donor database; and preparing and processing mailings when needed.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide general office support including sending emails, making phone calls, greeting and directing guests, and providing other basic administrative help as necessary.
  2. Maintain meeting calendar of supervisor and schedule internal and external appointments and meetings with donors, prospects, volunteers, trustees, and hospital staff. Reserves and prepares conference rooms and orders refreshments for meetings and donor visits
  3. Make local, national, and/or international travel arrangements for Trust staff as needed
  4. Maintain constituent information in donor database including biographical information, Trust codes, solicitor actions and proposal information
  5. Assist in developing materials for use in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors and prospects
  6. Prepare invoices for the dept including payment requisitions for vendors, employee reimbursements and serves as contact to resolve discrepancies. May reconcile monthly bills with overall budget.
  7. Assist in coordinating logistics for events including: tracking attendance, securing room space, ordering refreshments with vendors, and working at the event
  8. Assist supervisor with projects and preparation of reports and documents
  9. Write, draft, and edit agreements, proposals, reports, acknowledgements, briefings and donor correspondence as appropriate
Education/Qualifications: An Associate's degree and 4 yrs of experience is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and would replace the experience requirement. Volunteer or intern fundraising experience is a plus.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
