We are seeking a 32-hour Triage RN to join our team. The practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and schedules are staggered accordingly based on practice needs. While there is some flexibility, we are ideally looking for someone to work four 8-hour shifts.
This position will transition to a hybrid schedule after a 6-month orientation and training period, with the potential to work up to two days remotely each week. This position is primarily focused on phone triage, with occasional in-person nurse visits as needed. Responsible for patient care and support within our hospital's outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions -Deliver direct patient care and support in our ambulatory care unit, ensuring high nursing standards. -Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety. -Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care. -Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. -Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations. -Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
