Machine Operator - Brown Deer, WI

Compensation
Pay Range: $17 - $24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
This role involves operating a variety of manufacturing equipment. Your primary duties will include:
* Operating diverse machinery, such as punch presses, grinding machines, a shear, and other equipment.
* Performing precise measurements of parts using both a standard ruler (a MUST-HAVE skill) and digital micrometers.
* Maintaining a strong focus on product quality, inspecting parts to ensure they meet specifications.
* Following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
* Troubleshooting minor machine issues as needed.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Proven ability to accurately read a ruler
(digital micrometer is a plus)
* A good eye for quality and attention to detail in a manufacturing setting.
* A strong "can-do" attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to different machines and tasks.
* Demonstrated longevity in past employment, with a history of 3+ years with previous employers.
* Prior experience operating different types of machinery (punch press, grinder, shear experience is a plus).
* Reliable transportation.
