SALARY RANGE: $90,000 to $105,000

Position Summary:
The Barnett College of Public Health (CPH) at Temple University is one of the largest colleges of its kind in the country, consisting of the departments of Communication Sciences and Disorders, Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Health Services Administration and Policy, Kinesiology, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and the School of Social Work. The College's Admissions Office supports these academic units, playing a central role in the recruitment and enrollment of students, and helping to ensure the continued growth of the College.

Reporting to the Dean of the Barnett College of Public Health (CPH), the Director of Admissions will develop and implement all recruitment and enrollment strategies for the College. The incumbent and his/her staff will be responsible for meeting the undergraduate and graduate enrollment goals of the College. The Director will lead, supervise, and train professional and administrative employees within CPH to ensure efficient enrollment management and student recruitment operations.

Additionally, the incumbent will liaise with faculty, program directors, chairs and other university departments on both undergraduate and graduate admissions to ensure that best admission practices are implemented. The incumbent will set goals and priorities for the CPH Admissions Office that further the academic units' and Colleges' enrollment priories, ensure that university policies are effectively implemented, and be responsible for the full implementation and usage of the College's software recruiting and application program. Finally, the incumbent will develop and oversee an operational budget for the unit. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
*Bachelor's degree and at least six years of directly related experience
*Demonstrated experience directing admissions, recruitment, and marketing strategies related to graduate programs
*Demonstrated budget management experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Education and Experience:
*Master's degree
*Experience with Liaison recruitment software
*Experience with Google Analytics, MS Office Suite and budget systems

*Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
*Strong public speaking and presentation skills in front of small and large audiences.
*Must have proven ability to create admissions communication plans and lead development strategies.
*Demonstrated understanding of academic program promotion, admissions communications, and graduate student services.
*Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills.
*Demonstrated ability to work successfully across multiple departments and effectively collaborate with other admissions and student services professionals across the University.
*Excellent oral and written communication skills.
*Strong interpersonal skills along with the ability to effectively interact with diverse individuals.
*Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with a proven ability to multi-task, adhere to deadlines and respond quickly when necessary.
*Must have ability to synthesize results, develop recommendations based on quantitative data, and present findings to senior administration in the College.
*Ability to work nights and/or weekends and travel to off-site locations/events locally and nationally, as necessary.

Essential duties:
*Provide supervision and leadership to the admissions staff
*Continue the enrollment growth of the College, with special focus on graduate student enrollment
*Continuously develop, implement and oversee the recruitment and admissions communication plan for both prospective undergraduate and graduate students
*Continuously develop, oversee and evaluate the College efforts for yield of applicants depositing to become enrolled students
*Oversee the development of marketing and recruitment materials, in conjunction with the CPH Marketing Department, as they pertain to the recruitment and enrollment of new undergraduate and graduate students
*In collaboration with Dean's Office administrative units, develop relationships and educational programs with local employers and community colleges
*Work in collaboration with the Marketing division to select the most appropriate and effective print, radio and online venues to promote the College in local and national markets
*Manage the recruitment operating budget and determine how to best allocate funds for marketing, recruiting, and advertising efforts
*Coordinate and support departmental leadership in the College's on-campus graduate and undergraduate program events, and manage the off-campus graduate recruitment schedule, *Manage the College's recruitment and application software, provide training on its use as needed and evaluate its functionality with other University systems
*Develop innovative outreach to prospective students including virtual fairs and chat events, *Serve as liaison to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and support their recruitment efforts
*Provide routine (monthly) reports to the College leadership regarding College's and each units' admissions progression, including applicants, admitted, denied, and deposited students and troubleshoot issues in any of these areas with Dean's Office leadership
*Perform data analysis on applicant pool to assess efficacy of recruitment travel and marketing decisions in order to plan for future growth.

*Please note this position will work remotely, the duration of remote work will be at the discretion of Temple University and the department.
