Security Professional - Residential Patrol Team

As a Security Professional - Residential Patrol Team in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential locations, helping to deter potential security-related incidents and fostering a welcoming environment for residents and guests. By remaining highly visible and conducting routine patrols, you contribute to a sense of comfort and security. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at the residential location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and address potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs found during patrols.
• Collaborate with residential management and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for all occupants.
• Complete detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident reports as required by Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
