As a Security Officer - Luxury Mall Patrol in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. This is a driving post, so you will contribute to a secure environment while navigating the site, responding to various situations, and supporting visitors with outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and/or mall location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues during patrols.
• Assist with access control, monitor entrances and exits, and verify credentials as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or concerns.
• Support emergency response efforts as directed, including evacuation procedures or coordination with local authorities as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
