Employees have access to great benefits, amenity usage, and so much more! The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for supervising work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive rooms in the hotel. This is a part or full time position with day and weekend availability. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately to include prospective check-outs and stayover's. -Cleans guest suites in an allotted time period determined by management using the proper procedures and chemicals provided by management. -Inspects and evaluates the cleaning of rooms after the Room Attendant has completed cleaning the room. -Assist in training and teaching policies, and work procedures. -Coaches Room Attendants on areas of improvement by showing them what task they missed or did not perform properly when cleaning rooms. -Submits recommendations to management on needed repairs. -Periodically inventories supplies and equipment. -Ensures housekeeping duties are completed prior to shift end. -Ensures storage rooms and housekeeping carts are clean and organized. -Upon discovering any damage to property, immediately fill out a maintenance request form and/or missing inventory form and submit to Executive Housekeeping Manager. -Utilizes chemicals according to directions and familiarizes self with all material safety data sheets. -Follows procedures concerning protection against blood borne pathogens. -Reports hazardous conditions in work area or equipment to management. -Practices safety procedures, including bending, lifting, and safe use of equipment.
