As a Security Officer - Healthcare Dispatch Center in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities include monitoring security-related systems, coordinating responses, and communicating crucial information to on-site teams. What You'll Do:

• Operate and monitor communication systems, such as radios and telephones, to coordinate security-related activities within the healthcare location.
• Receive, evaluate, and prioritize incoming calls and/or requests for security-related assistance, dispatching appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document and maintain accurate logs of incidents, calls, and activities occurring during the shift.
• Provide customer service by assisting staff, visitors, and/or patients with security-related inquiries and concerns.
• Monitor electronic surveillance systems to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities in and around the location.
• Communicate critical information to on-site Allied Universal personnel and on-site management during emergency situations.
• Follow site-specific procedures and protocols when responding to incidents or emergencies.
• Support Allied Universal officers by relaying information and coordinating responses to incidents throughout the healthcare facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
