Under the direction of the Director of Assessments and Referrals, the Mobile Assessment Coordinator covers his/her assigned area by representing the facility to people, departments and organizations in a position to refer patients to the hospital.

Qualifications

Job Specifics: Full Time, hours varied

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Licenses or Certifications:

  • Current Arkansas Driver's License.
  • Current Arkansas licensure in specialty preferred.
  • Employee must be in good standing with licensing board and must maintain license as a condition of employment.
  • Employee must have current CPR and handle with Care certifications, or must obtain within 2 weeks of hire.
  • Employee must maintain certification with CPR and CPI and professional license as a condition of employment.

Total education, vocational training and experience:

  • Minimum of a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or license in specialty.
  • Must have documented experience working in the field.
  • Experience in assessment services and public relations preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

1. Must have excellent verbal and communication skills to communicate in a clear and concise manner with the media, community groups and leaders, public, patients, referral sources, and administration.

2. Ability to represent the facility to a wide range of people and organizations in a positive manner.

3. Must have ability to assist in the implementation of marketing programs and strategies.

4. Must have stable emotional makeup to function in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

5. Ability to assess appropriate level and focus of care as related to psychiatric, emotional, or behavioral problems.

6. Ability to determine suitability of admission to the hospital based on clinical and financial criteria (with assistance from Admissions and physician).
