Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced Vice President of Revenue Strategy to lead revenue performance across a defined regional portfolio of branded and independent hotels. This role partners closely with Regional Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Finance leaders to ensure total commercial alignment and optimal portfolio results. This role is remote but preference may be given to candidates in the Midwest region.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The VP serves as a strategic thought partner to hotel ownership and Crescent leadership-driving revenue growth, profitability, and market share while developing and mentoring a high-performing team of Area Directors of Revenue Strategy. This role is ideal for a collaborative, analytical, and forward-thinking revenue leader with a passion for building teams, influencing across functions, and communicating effectively with ownership and executive stakeholders.

Leadership & Portfolio Management



  • Lead and develop a team of Area Directors of Revenue Strategy responsible for multi-property performance and strategy execution.
  • Oversee the commercial performance of a regional portfolio, ensuring revenue strategies are aligned with market conditions, brand standards, and ownership objectives.
  • Partner with Regional Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Finance leadership to deliver on budgeted revenue, market share, and profitability goals.
  • Establish clear accountability and performance metrics for Area DORMs and property revenue leaders.
  • Drive consistent implementation of Crescent's revenue strategy standards, systems, and best practices across the portfolio.


Commercial Strategy & Performance



  • Guide and monitor strategic pricing, inventory, and channel management to optimize RevPAR, market share, and total hotel revenue.
  • Lead revenue and forecasting discussions for portfolio hotels, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights.
  • Leverage BI tools (Lighthouse, ProfitSword, Amadeus, CoStar, etc.) to identify trends, opportunities, and risks across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with ownership and asset management partners to communicate revenue performance, market positioning, and forward strategy.
  • Drive cross-discipline collaboration to enhance total revenue performance (Rooms, F&B, Ancillary, and Group).


Communication & Owner Relations



  • Serve as the primary revenue strategy liaison for ownership groups within the assigned region.
  • Proactively communicate performance insights, market trends, and strategic recommendations in owner meetings and portfolio reviews.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with owners, brand partners, and Crescent executives by demonstrating expertise, transparency, and results-oriented leadership.
  • Partner with Business Development and SVP leadership on new opportunities and pro-forma validations when applicable.


REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:



  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive revenue management leadership experience, including multi-property oversight is required; VP or Senior Regional Director level preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • Leadership: Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing revenue management teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in data interpretation, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Technology: Experience with brand revenue management systems (Marriott OneYield, Hilton GRO, IHG RMS, Hyatt PRIO, etc.) and BI tools (Lighthouse BI, ProfitSword, Amadeus, PowerBI).
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to achieve commercial goals.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation and relationship management skills, particularly with ownership and executive leadership.
  • Travel: Ability to travel as needed to property visits, regional meetings, and ownership presentations.
