Job Purpose

The Quality and Warranty Intern will play a key role within Dana's Quality and Warranty Department, contributing to various projects throughout the duration of the internship. This internship is designed to provide a strong understanding of the Quality and Warranty function and also serves as a pipeline for future full-time opportunities. Throughout the internship, the Intern will engage with team members across the globe, building collaborative relationships with internal departments, and cross-functional product groups.



This position may be based in either Maumee, Ohio or Lafayette, Indiana.



Opportunities are available for either full-time or part-time internships.

Potential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency by accurately processing and validating warranty claims
  • Supporting the review of part failure analysis
  • Managing requests for service parts lists and technical manuals
  • Streamlining collaboration by organizing and distributing key data across teams, ensuring transparency and alignment
  • Other ad hoc projects to support both corporate and plant-level quality initiatives

Position Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to learn and build computer proficiency using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside Dana in a professional manner, and the ability to work in a global team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Required Education:

* Pursuing a bachelor's degree in technical field
* Minimum 3.0 GPA
