Description and Requirements

As a CSP Test Development Engineer will also work with Hardware and Software Development Engineers and external partners to build custom processes as required. Tactically you must be ready to react to any production issues as they arise and support worldwide manufacturing operations. Strategically, the expectation is that the successful candidate will be constantly looking for ways to optimize and improve the overall process for manufacturing efficiency.

Lenovo has manufacturing facilities in China, Hungary, Mexico and Brazil and the expectation is that travel to some of these sites would be required as part of this role.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Engineering (Computer Engineering, Computer Science) or similar technical discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in writing test cases for complex product hardware
  • Scripting with Python (3.x preferred), Java and Rest API
  • Experience with code versioning and tracking systems (CVS, git, SVN)
  • Experience with server product hardware and firmware operation and debug.
  • Experience with manufacturing test process development and deployment
