Intern must be available to work full time (40 hours/week) during the 10-week program Program Dates: May 29 - August 7, 2026. Location: This position is fully remote / work from home in the continental US. Work Authorization: US Work Authorization required for this role. Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate's commitment to the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made. The Main Responsibilities
As an AI System & Process Enablement Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the development and adoption of AI-powered tools, internal solutions, and process optimization. This hands-on role involves assisting with data preparation, model evaluation, and performance tracking, while also helping document workflows and best practices. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI enablement and process improvement and participate in workshops and training sessions to drive awareness and adoption of AI capabilities. In addition, you will help Lumen to identify where to invest its resources by developing a business case and driving cost vs. benefit analysis. Support for this role will be focused on improving operational maturity, decreasing manual effort, and assisting with speeding up the delivery and trajectory of our operational needs.
