Responsibilities
Provide daily management oversight and supervision to the Northeast Medical Group (NEMG) Onboarding team.
Implement expected standards, best practices, policies and procedures for provider onboarding across the enterprise. Coordinate and process Human Resources (HR) and financial transactions for Aligned Clinician Enterprise (ACE) providers.
Facilitate processing and oversee compliance with Visa and Immigration regulations for new clinician hires. Perform regular audits of the Onboarding Office to uphold quality standards and ensure compliance with the organizational and regulatory requirements.
Oversee Malpractice Administration for Medical Group Providers in conjunction with Risk Management. Collaborate with Medical Staff Office, Payer Enrollment, Talent Acquisition and other key stakeholders to maintain robust and efficient onboarding protocols and processes . Performs a variety of activities related to supporting daily operations of the group including human resources planning, information technology, reporting, and compliance among other functions.
Plans and facilitate training sessions for the department when new policies or practices are adopted. In conjunction with Medical Group leadership initiates, plans and develops administrative policies and contributes to long-range administrative planning. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of regulations and requirements impacting the medical group and its physician group affiliates. Keep current on all organizational, regulatory compliance and privacy trainings policies. Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
EDUCATION (number of years and type required to perform the position duties): Bachelor's degree or equivalent amount of education and experience required. Master's degree preferred. EXPERIENCE (number of years and type required to meet an acceptable level of performance): Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a healthcare setting (i.e. human resources, physician recruitment, medical group or acute care, human resources required. SPECIAL SKILLS: Must be capable of meeting onboarding goals in a dynamic, change-orientated environment. Ability to successfully navigate multiple complex processes across different organizations and geographical locations. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability to translate complex data into a simplified format and clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Prior experience with HRIS systems, onboarding platforms, and learning management systems (LMS) is strongly preferred.
