THE POSITION

Do you have a sharp eye for inventory and knowing what you need and when you need it? The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Washington County Maintenance Organization is seeking hardworking individuals to work in the Winter Maintenance Program. If you are a reliable, detail-oriented team player who likes to stay active at work, then this seasonal Stock Clerk 1 is the job for you!


DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will assist with clerical work for receiving and issuing materials, supplies, tools, and equipment. This includes assisting with record keeping duties and aiding the department in conducting inventories for your particular work location. Your work will involve strenuous manual work and routine clerical tasks in the maintenance of simple stores records. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Seasonal, full-time employment for the PennDOT 25-26 Winter Maintenance Program.
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Shift work is required for winter.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Graduation from high school; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
