Warehouse Generalist

Competitive Pay:This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $20.00/hr. to $25.00/hr., depending on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do:

• Selects items from warehouse per customer order and packs in boxes for shipment.

• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

• Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.

• Responsible for making arrangements for pick up by the carrier specified on the customer's purchase order.

• Operates pallet jacks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.

• Operates the stretch wrap banders.

• Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Receives and processes all defective parts returned for replacement or credit.

• Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods. Familiarity with Fed X and UPS software is preferred.

What You'll Need:

• Must be detail oriented as there are several products with similar item numbers for different applications.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Good time management skills.

• Basic math skills and/or aptitude.

• Some computer experience and aptitude.

• Must be able to lift, bend, stand and sit for long periods of time.

• Valid Driver's License andwilling to submit to a drug test

• Ability to work effectively with other OTC associates, customers, and vendors.

• A commitment to the concept of "doing it right the first time."

• Forklift experience a plus.
