The Sales Representative is responsible for managing direct sales to end-users within a designated geographic territory or specific industry/product segment. This intermediate-level role focuses on selling the organization's products or services, developing new accounts, and expanding existing relationships. The scope of responsibility may vary based on territory size, industry significance, or product specialization.

Location: Midwest Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales activities within a defined geographic area or industry/product segment, which may span regional, district, or national levels.

  • Sell company products or services directly to end-users through assigned channels, accounts, or team-based initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with small to mid-sized accounts, contributing to revenue growth and client retention.

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking.

  • Apply effective sales techniques and product knowledge to recommend tailored solutions to clients.

  • Complete moderately complex sales transactions with minimal supervision; collaborate with senior sales personnel on advanced opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and client interactions.

  • Build and expand a professional network to support long-term business development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within a related industry or product category.

  • Working knowledge of company products/services and developing familiarity with industry trends.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing a quota or territory.

Forcepoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range and variable compensation for this role is 150,000.00 - 170,000.00 and represents the low and high end of compensation for this position. Actual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and performance.Therange listed is just one component of Forcepoint's total compensation package for employees.
