Job Summary:
Join the College of Letters & Science (L&S) for an exciting role as an Accountant III with a team of other finance experts. You'll have an opportunity to make a positive impact by approving, overseeing, and facilitating financial transactions in a manner that best utilizes available financial resources. Reporting to the Financial Manager, the Accountant III will work closely with various L&S departments as a subject matter expert in accounting and financial operations, policies, and procedures. Additionally, they will provide expertise on transactional and budget management tailored to the specific needs of each discipline. The role involves key functions, such as:
College of Letters & Science, Administration The College of Letters & Science (L&S) is the heart of UW-Madison and home to a tremendous breadth and depth of departments and degree-granting programs in the humanities; natural, physical, and mathematical sciences; social sciences; and the computing, data, and information sciences. Compensation:The typical starting salary for this position is $57,000 - $80,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
