Journalism Enhancing Programs Job Description
The person in this 2-year position will organize and conduct in-person and online training for Investigative Reporters and Editors, a nonprofit organization affiliated with the Missouri School of Journalism, including for data journalism bootcamps, online mini bootcamps, webinars, customized newsroom training, regional workshops and other venues. This person also will help plan and execute assigned facets of IRE's in-person and virtual national conferences and develop clear and useful training materials using investigative and data journalism tools, including AI. This person will have the opportunity to create new curricula to meet changing industry needs. Key Responsibilities:

40 hours per week; some nights and weekends Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 6 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI applications, Google slides (or PowerPoint) and spreadsheets; experience with coding in R or Python a plus Anticipated Hiring Range
Hiring Salary Range: $69,097.60 - $74,000 Application Materials
