Summary of Position:

The manager of National Deployment is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of projects and services across a wide geographical area. This role involves managing teams to ensure successful deployment of new technologies, products, or staff, while resolving issues, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with various stakeholders. Key duties include project management, technical guidance, process improvement, and ensuring adherence to budgets and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Lead and mentor deployment teams, assign tasks, and foster collaboration among technical staff and other departments
  • Coordinate and schedule long-term and near-term deployment activities, and manage projects from inception to completion
  • Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure deployments comply with company standards
  • Act as a point of contact, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (like project managers and clients), and provide regular updates on progress
  • Identify and resolve potential technical and scheduling issues proactively, and assist in developing strategies and processes to optimize efficiency
  • Ensure deployments meet quality standards and project objectives, and maintain documentation of systems and processes
  • Project deployments will include and not be limited to structured cabling, voice, wireless WAN, wireless LAN, SDWAN, and a variety of different WAN Access products


Required Qualifications:



  • Candidates need several years of experience in deployment management or project management, with a proven track record of managing large, complex projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential for coordinating teams and managing stakeholder expectations Technical expertise relevant to the company's specific deployment needs
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Proven organizational and planning skills with a high attention to detail
  • Proactively anticipate issues and develop/improve processes
  • Location of service will be in a Granite project office (Tennessee, Quincy, Rhode Island) with the ability to travel to customer locations as needed.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Professional certifications such PMP, ACP, CSM, Six Sigma
  • Strong knowledge of relevant deployment technologies, tools, and methodologies
