Job Title: Peoplesoft HCM

Location(s): Kansas City, MO

(Hybrid)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced PeopleSoft HCM Techno-Functional Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Core HR, NA Payroll and Benefits modules. The ideal candidate will lead a team of offshore developers, manage client communications, and be responsible for both technical delivery and functional support within a dynamic production environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage development, support, and enhancement activities for PeopleSoft HCM (HR, Payroll, Time & Material modules).
  • Perform hands-on technical work including development using PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR Integration Broker, and related PeopleSoft tools.
  • Oversee offshore resources based in India, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to SLAs.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements, prepare estimations and Statements of Work (SOWs), and deliver complete solutions from design to deployment.
  • Handle production support activities with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Prepare and present Weekly/Monthly Staytus Reports (WSRs/MSRs) and other project documentation.
  • Collaborate directly with clients and leadership teams to ensure effective communication and timely delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with quality processes and best practices in development and support activities.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10-12 years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM Development, Support, and Enhancement projects.
  • Proven expertise in Core HR, NA Payroll, and Benefits modules.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Integration Broker, and related tools.
  • Solid understanding of ServiceNow or other ticketing tools for managing incidents and service requests.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring offshore teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including client-facing interaction and stakeholder management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
