What does a Systems Engineer do at Swire Coca-Cola?
As a Systems Engineer at Swire Coca-Cola, you'll be the crucial link between Systems Administration and Architecture-driving innovation by designing and implementing complex IT solutions that power our business. In this dynamic role, you'll manage and optimize cutting-edge infrastructure, ensure reliability and security, and collaborate with talented teams to deliver scalable results. Success requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage complex IT systems, including servers, storage, and network infrastructure
- Manage and support OT related systems for maximum up time and reliability
- Maintain and update documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
- Assist in the development and deployment of new technologies and solutions
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all systems
- Collaborate with Systems Administrators to troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution
- Perform regular system audits and generate reports on system health and performance
- Interface with vendors and stakeholders to ensure optimal system functionality
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required
- 5+ years experience in IT systems administration and engineering. required
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) preferred
- Windows and Linux operating systems knowledge
- Experience with Azure, Hyper-V, VMware, Azure Local, etc. virtualization technologies
- Network infrastructure and security system engineering experience
