Description Required Experience/Skills Strong customer service and communication skills Network communications understanding Experience with LAN/WAN technologies Racking and stacking equipment Cable installation (Cat5, Cat6, Fiber, etc..) Experience with the following technologies are encouraged but not all are mandatory: Cisco/Aruba experience VSAT Ubiquiti Radios UPS installation and support Optional Experience/Skills Project lead, organizing project tasks Strong desktop skills, software troubleshooting skills Windows 11 Experience, upgrades, feature updates Microsoft Office Application Installation and Troubleshooting Hardware Installation and Troubleshooting Project Details 1400+ sites that have isolated connections that have minimal IT oversite. Each site will have a router installed that will utilize the existing connection method (VSAT, cellular, etc....) to provide additional management capabilities. The project will require weekly travel for approximately 18 months. Site locations and recommended solutions have been defined. ONEOK Project Management will oversee scheduling in advance. It will be the contractor's responsibility to manage their time to meet deadlines and accommodate travel. Responsibilities Deploy network equipment at field locations, following guidelines provided. Ensure successful connectivity before and after installation. Document all issues Communicate risks and outages immediately Skills* Hardware, Desktop, Troubleshooting, Windows 10, Desktop troubleshooting Top Skills Details Hardware,Desktop,Troubleshooting Additional Skills & Qualifications IT Field Services is recruiting 3 contractors to work on a project to deploy routers to over 1400 sites during the next 18 months. Over half the locations are in OK and TX, but a significant number will require travel to the remainder of ONEOK's footprint We are looking to recruit a mid-level candidate with 5-10 years of experience in this area. Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
